Garth Ennis doing zombies often fails. Who knows how he’ll do with post-apocalyptic zombies. But this prologue isn’t a good sign.

    Issue #1 is better. Jacen Burrows art isn’t really suited to horror, and the effect of violence is lessened. You really need someone with an inky brush to show good gore and gratuitous beastiality. I could think of at least a half dozen other artists I’d of rather illustrated the nasties
    anal fucking the disemboweled semi conscious victims while they yelled grotesque obsenities at one another. But that’s just me.
