There’s a big dumb twist at the end, as big and dumb as the first arc. It’s even worse, actually; predictable and disappointing.

Brubaker manages a lot of twists and turns with this one; the development feels real but familiar too. The cliffhanger is great.

A little too speedy, considering how much time Brubaker’s covering here. The way he cliffhangs, then adds a page, is always fun.

A great set-up, maybe Brubaker’s first comic book fetishizing. Every development is a good surprise. Great dialogue, characters.

The last issue of a loose trilogy, it is probably Brubaker’s best work on the series. The contrived setting is a problem though.

Nice done in one, Brubaker and Phillips fit a lot in. Not a fan of the lettering though. It is a sturdy, solid, reliable comic.
